At the widest point at ground level. If it sits between sizes, we round in your favour at the quote — the confirmed price is set before we start, never after.
Is the quote really free?

Do you charge extra for surface roots?
Typical surface roots are part of the grind. Anything unusual gets assessed at the quote stage, so the price you confirm is the price you pay.

We re-quote before grinding — no surprises. If the new price doesn't work for you, there's no charge and no obligation.
How do I pay?
